UH Libraries Special Collections + Preservation and Reformatting will be participating in Old Weird Houston at Orange Show Center for Visionary Art on Saturday, April 1.

Special Collections will display primary source materials from Mydolls, CIA, New Music America, Infernal Bridegroom Productions/Catastrophic, Gorilla Girl Records, and more. Preservation and Reformatting will feature footage from the Gulf Coast LGBT Radio and Television Digitization and Access Project, funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), in which radio programs such as After Hours and television programs such as TV Montrose document the LGBTQ community in Houston since the 1980s.
